Youri Messen Jaschin experiments with close line fragments and black hole like images. In 1968 to 1970 he studied at the design university in Gothenburg where he championed his individual design for kinetic objects made out of textiles.
Youri Messen Jaschin like many Op Art artists had close links to the modern art movement of Pop Art which later morphed into Op Art.
Architecture plays a large role in his art work and his studies of how Op Art can be applied to Architecture furthered his own style of Op Art.
