1st July 2008
Following the success of last years Summer Screen, this summer Spacex will present an international artists film programme and host a series of related events. The screening programme will include a curated programme by Negar Azimi for www.tank.tv titled She doesn't think so but she's dressed for the h-bomb.

This programme includes a selection of short videos by Ziad Antar,Yael Bartana, Haris Epaminonda, Iman Issa, Hassan Khan,Rosalind Nashashibi, Shahryar Nashat, Ahmet Ogut, and the Atlas Group. These films reveal the weight of diverse histories in defining the current moment – whether manifest in the form of national myth, ritual, architecture, or pop culture. In the end, these are not static narratives; they are dynamic, promiscuous and enigmatic.
A series of artists talks and a screening night for south west filmmakers will take place during September. Dates to be announced. Visit our website for the latest information. Exhibition runs for the 26th July – 20th September 2008
