This hugely popular event returns for its 14th year, attracting over 16,500 buyers, sellers and art enthusiasts into the trademark white pavilions in Glasgow’s George Square.
Recognised as one of the most prestigious art fairs in the UK outside of London, Glasgow Art Fair will be presenting over 50 selected galleries and art organisations from throughout the UK and overseas, representing a wide range of media from established artists to emerging new talent.
A key date in the cultural calendar, there is no better place to get a taste of the contemporary art scene. Earlier this year the 2008 Glasgow Art Fair saw a diverse range of galleries representing over 1000 artists including works by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, Joan Eardley, SJ Peploe, Kenny Hunter, Damien Hirst, Tracy Emin, Banksy and Dalziel + Scullion.
With total sales figures exceeding £1.2million and work ranging from under £100 to tens of thousands of pounds, there is something to suit all tastes and budgets at Glasgow Art Fair.
