0ver 50 dealers, all of whom are UK based, will offer 20th century blue chip international names such as Modigliani, Matisse, Miro and Chagall plus British favourites Moore, Hockney, Riley, Banksy and Hirst as well as many who will be new.
Of special interest is a portrait drawing by Modigliani inspired by Russian poet, Anna Akhmatova, with whom he had an affair between 1910-12. (£200,000) A stunning oil portrait of her by Nathan Altman is a highlight of the RA's 'From Russia' exhibition.
London is the most cosmopolitan city in the world and, during the last decade, an equally cosmopolitan art market has emerged. The fair offers the opportunity of seeing this diversity under one very famous roof.
Prices are from a few hundred up to many thousands. The fair is organised by Gay Hutson and Angela Wynn who run the successful 20/21 British Art Fair at the same venue.
