Banksy, the artist whose canvas is the street, was until not long ago considered a vandal and nothing better than a graffiti artist.
These days' his art is considered as a complement to its surrounding area. People even tour the world in an attempt to spot Banksy exhibits.
Bristol, England – The Banksy mural, 'The Mild Mild West' shows a teddy bear hurling a petrol bomb at riot police. The office building where the exhibit has been painted is scheduled for a total renovation.
There were concerns that the exhibit would disappear once renovated but the developer who is in charge of the renovation insists that it remains and what's more, is a centre point for the refurbished office building.
The Mural will be protected by a glass conservatory which will house a café in full view of the mural and will act as protection against vandalism from graffiti artists.
The mural was voted in a BBC poll as Bristol’s favourite landmark.
